Growing up in Wuppertal, Germany, Timo Xanke was immersed in a world of music from the very start. 
It’s no coincidence that he has a deep connection to it: his uncle, a renowned jazz and classical producer and owner of a major recording studio in Germany, introduced him early on to legendary places like Abbey Road Studios and the music scene in Los Angeles
Inspired by these experiences, Timo developed a profound understanding of sound, performance, and production, shaping a unique voice as a multi-instrumentalist and singer. His arrangements fuse organic instrumentation and expressive vocals with cinematic, electronic production, creating music that is both deeply human and grandly epic.
He has built a distinguished career in film and advertising, collaborating with award-winning filmmaker Jan Haft and 2WEI. His music has been featured in campaigns for top brands including Porsche, Audi, Kerrygold, EA Games, MAN, Guhl, O2, EDEKA, Ad Council, Hello Fresh, and Ferrero, demonstrating his ability to craft tracks that resonate in cinematic and commercial contexts.
Alongside his media work, Timo has contributed to the pop music scene, collaborating with artists such as Jupiter Jones, Tujamo, and The Night Game (US). His credits include the internationally successful hit single “Underwater” by Tujamo, which has amassed over 100 million plays worldwide, as well as Jupiter Jones’ album “Die Sonne ist ein Zwergstern”, which reached No. 3 on the german album charts in 2023.
Timo is also active as an artist under his own projects, XANKY and Die Krux, releasing music in both English and German. Known for his versatility and cinematic sensibility, he creates music that is emotionally resonant, texturally rich, and commercially impactful, combining the best of organic performance and modern production.
